The matches schedule for South Africa tour of India 2019 has been decided. These matches were started from September 15 and was go on to October 23. In this meanwhile, both teams had played 3 T-20 matches and 3 Test matches. ODI matches weren’t include in this tour of South Africa in India. Another interesting fact in this series is that the Test Matches are the part of ICC Test Championship. South Africa was also schedule for again tour of India in March 2020 for One Day International matches series.

It was conformed that Quinton De Kock had to lead the South African team for their T-20 matches and Faf Du Plessis had to lead the team for 3 Test matches.

Schedule For t-20 Matches:

The 1st T-20 of India v/s South Africa was played on 15 of September from 7 p.m onwards. This match was played at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamshala. This match was remain abandoned due to rain without any ball bowled.

The 2nd T-20 between India and South Africa was played on 18 of September. This match was also played from 7 p.m onwards. This match was played at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali. India won this match by 7 wickets. Player of the Match was won by Virat Kohli.

The 3rd T-20 was played on 22 of September. This match was also played from 7 p.m onwards. This match was played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangaluru. South Africa won this match by 9 wickets. Player of the Match award was won by Beuran Hendricks.

This series remain drawn by 1-1. Player of the series was won by South African Captain Quinton De Cock.

Schedule for Test Matches:

The 1st Test match was played at Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Vishakhapatnam. This match was played from 2-6 of October. The timing for this match is set from 9 a.m onwards. India won this match by 203 runs. Rohit Sharma became Man of the Match.

The 2nd Test match was played at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune. It was played from 10 -14 October. The timing for this match was also the same as 1st test. India won this match by an inning and 137 runs. Virat Kohli became Player of the Match.

The 3rd and the final Test match was played at JSCA International Cricket Stadium, Ranchi. The timing was same as first two test matches. India won this match by an inning and 202 runs. In this match, Rohit Sharma became Man of the Match.

By the win of this match, India made a clean sweep against South Africa in Test matches. Rohit Sharma won the man of the Series award.
